Early Career Intern - Investments (IFI High Yield)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; at least four full days per week in the hirify.global office. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Employment-based immigration sponsorship, OPT, and CPT support are not available. Relocation and housing are not included.

What you will do

• Support fundamental credit research across multiple sectors of the U.S. high-yield corporate bond market.
• Build and maintain financial models and credit monitoring tools.
• Research investment opportunities and present findings to the team.
• Prepare presentations, summaries, and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with portfolio management, client portfolio management, risk, and research teams.
• Participate in meetings, training, mentorship, and assigned research projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program as a rising junior, graduating by summer 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Interest in financial markets and investments.
• Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, collaboration, and work ethic.
• Must be able to work in Atlanta and have permanent U.S. work authorization; no immigration sponsorship, OPT, or CPT support is available.

Nice to have

• Prior investment management internship experience.
• Experience gathering and interpreting market data.
• Creative problem-solving experience and the ability to prioritize work under deadlines.
