Global Mobility Senior Manager (Sports International Travel and Compliance)

Location: London/Osterley, United Kingdom; hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Osterley office. The role is 5 days per week and may require weekend work. Appropriate right to work in the UK is required.

What you will do

• Lead international sports travel and events, identifying compliance requirements across immigration, tax, social security, payroll, and contracts.
• Monitor changes to travel, appearances, and contracts and adjust compliance actions accordingly.
• Plan and coordinate sporting events with the Head of Production, tour providers, and external suppliers.
• Work with Sports Directors, Tax, Onboarding, Legal, Global Mobility, and Immigration teams on talent engagements and compliance approaches.
• Initiate and manage services provided by immigration and tax suppliers.
• Oversee and upskill the Sports Travel and Expense team while maintaining tracking, documentation, processes, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and establish trust.
• Solid understanding of international compliance across immigration, tax, social security, payroll, and contract types including employees, fixed-term contracts, and casual PAYE.
• Strong knowledge of IR35 and its interaction with downstream compliance processes.
• Experience in the sports industry, including working with tour providers and navigating sports exemptions for international events.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases, translate technical advice into clear guidance, and resolve issues for senior stakeholders and talent.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK.
