Global Director of People

Location: United Kingdom, hybrid; minimum 1 day per week at the UK Cambridgeshire office

hirify.global operates across multiple countries and requires coordinated global people operations, compliance, benefits, and employee lifecycle support.

What you will do

• Own the global employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding through performance management, promotions, compensation changes, and offboarding.
• Manage Rippling, including employee data, leave tracking, time and attendance, spend management, and onboarding and offboarding workflows.
• Oversee global benefits, payroll operations, employment verifications, and compliance administration.
• Coordinate HR processes across the US, UK, France, Hungary, Romania, and Sweden with local partners and stakeholders.
• Partner with managers and the Deputy CEO on retention, performance issues, organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategy.
• Own global training and development initiatives, including onboarding, compliance, manager enablement, and ongoing employee development.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom and attend the Cambridgeshire office at least one day per week.
• At least 5 years of proven global HR experience managing employees across multiple countries.
• Hands-on Rippling experience is required.
• Strong employee lifecycle, HR operations, payroll, benefits, and US and international employment compliance experience.
• High attention to detail with a strong execution mindset and the ability to operate strategically.
• Experience managing company-wide training and development initiatives across a global organization.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting creative, technical, and product-driven teams.
• Gaming industry experience and familiarity with game studio or gaming-adjacent environments.
• Experience partnering with IT on device management, system access, and onboarding and offboarding coordination.
