Maps Operation Specialist (Autonomous Vehicles)

hirify.global develops autonomous vehicle and delivery robot technology, including high-precision HD maps for autonomous navigation.

What you will do

• Compile and edit high-resolution maps for autonomous vehicles and delivery robots.
• Correct maps and provide detailed feedback on their quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Contribute to the development of a custom map format for self-driving technology.
• Respond to map-related requests from colleagues across different departments using accurate geospatial data.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in mapping, GIS, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Strong skills in digitization, spatial data processing, image interpretation, and remote sensing.
• Basic SQL knowledge, including the ability to write simple queries.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with repetitive tasks.
• Authorization to work in the US is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with HD maps for autonomous driving.
• Knowledge of geodesy and experience with DTM.
• Experience with Linux, Git, version control, OSM data, iD, or JOSM.
• Basic Python knowledge and strong analytical skills.
