GIS Coordinator

What you will do

• Coordinate GIS, survey, mapping, and CAD data deliverables from third-party vendors and consultants across the project lifecycle.
• Request, track, receive, and review vendor submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company data standards.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections and follow-up requests with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Work with land development, engineering, environmental, and construction teams to identify GIS data needs and support integration into internal systems.
• Maintain deliverable logs, correspondence, file structures, naming standards, and archived GIS records.
• Track vendor scopes, schedules, and invoicing status and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with GIS data, preferably with external vendors, consultants, or survey providers.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Field Maps, or similar tools.
• Working experience with AutoCAD and drafting or design software sufficient to review and cross-reference vendor drawings and data.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, communication, and data-quality skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center, energy, or land development due diligence and entitlement processes.
• Experience with document or records management systems.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, or other design and drafting tools.
