Client Coding Project Manager (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Monitor risk adjustment operations and the performance of internal teams and coding vendors.
• Audit coding activities and maintain documentation, quality assurance programs, benchmarks, and acceptable thresholds.
• Ensure coding compliance with organizational, federal, state, and third-party requirements.
• Report audit findings to leadership and support implementation of corrective and process improvements.
• Develop and deliver coding education, training programs, presentations, reports, and memoranda for auditors, vendors, and staff.
• Train new auditors and share program, quality, and initiative updates with management.

Requirements

• Three to five years of related work experience, including at least five years of risk adjustment coding experience across ACA and MA, or a relevant bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
• Expert knowledge of risk adjustment and coding compliance.
• At least one year of project management experience.
• Research, problem-resolution, policy development, internal controls, and operating standards experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and G-Suite applications; strong Excel skills are required.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and deadline-management skills, with the ability to work independently in complex and ambiguous environments.
