Senior Energy Engineer (Hybrid Schedule)

Location: East Springfield, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required.

Annual salary: $115,730–$128,590, plus potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the technical implementation and oversight of electric and natural gas energy-efficiency programs.
• Review and approve complex projects involving engineering analysis, new technologies, and energy simulation modeling.
• Coordinate with product development, consulting, sales, marketing, planning, customers, program administrators, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop calculation procedures and tools supporting regulatory filings and oversight of ratepayer funds.
• Manage contractor budgets, invoicing, expense tracking, evaluations, and RFP development.
• Lead training, technology evaluation, research activities, and participation in industry conferences and stakeholder events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least eight years of relevant engineering or related technical experience.
• Strong understanding of regulatory policy and process.
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with standard office software.
• Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and training to program teams and market participants.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in engineering, business, or marketing.
• Experience or aptitude in customer service.
• EIT, PE, CEM, or LEED Professional certification.
