Policy Analyst Contractor (AI)

Location: Remote from Belgium

What you will do

• Direct and quality-control AI-assisted monitoring of EU policy and regulatory developments.
• Review, correct, contextualize, and verify AI-generated output before client delivery.
• Collect, structure, and analyze data to calibrate and improve digital monitoring tools.
• Translate monitoring results into flash reports, briefings, and client-relevant policy insight.
• Track EU legislation and procedures while supporting issues-management, Business Development, and internal projects.
• Manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Master's degree in EU Law or EU Affairs/Politics.
• Good understanding of EU legislative procedures, regulatory processes, politics, and policymaking.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-assisted research and monitoring tools without taking their output at face value.
• Ability to write high-quality policy briefings, flash reports, and long-form analysis.
• Native or equivalent written and spoken English, plus other EU languages.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience in EU public affairs or regulatory affairs.
