AI FinOps Analyst (Business Analyst)

Location: Hybrid, Utrecht, Netherlands

Salary: €5,030–€7,183 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Develop governance and reporting approaches for GenAI and agentic AI use cases.
• Create dashboards and KPIs covering AI cost, usage, value, and sustainability impact.
• Analyse AI and cloud workloads with engineering teams to identify cost and emissions optimisation opportunities.
• Develop guidance for transparent, cost-conscious, and sustainable AI usage.
• Advise business, finance, architecture, and technology stakeholders on cost efficiency, value, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Experience with AI, GenAI, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of cloud economics, FinOps, and cost observability.
• Experience translating data into insights through reporting, forecasting, business cases, and KPI development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and enough technical understanding of AI architectures, cloud platforms, and AI service consumption models.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and build relationships across business, finance, and technology.
• Solution-focused mindset with clear ownership of work.

Nice to have

• Experience with KQL, Azure Log Analytics, or Azure Bicep.
• FinOps certification.
• Previous experience within hirify.global.
