Yard Inventory Coordinator (Automotive)

Location: Onsite in Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $21.00 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Prepare vehicles for auction and ensure they are in working order by boosting batteries, adding fuel, filling tires, handling lockouts, and preparing vehicles for towing.
• Move, mark, flag, stage, and register vehicles through the remarketing process, including preparation for reconditioning and transportation.
• Record fuel, towing, and other services accurately to support customer billing.
• Enter vehicle information, assign stock numbers, open repair orders, and manage vehicle records using computer and mobile systems.
• Photograph vehicles after reconditioning and assist dealers, customers, and internal departments with vehicle retrieval and administrative requests.
• Operate vehicles and equipment outdoors in all weather conditions, including clearing snow and performing light shoveling when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions, preferably in an industrial or related environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as plow trucks, bobcats, or loaders.
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
