AOCS/GNC Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Analyze AOCS guidance performance, including spacecraft pointing accuracy and geo-location and geo-orientation errors.
• Use and enhance AOCS simulation environments to evaluate mission performance and guidance correction concepts.
• Perform performance analyses and trade-off studies for alternative onboard guidance correction methods.
• Evaluate the effects of along-track and cross-track orbital prediction errors on mission and instrument performance.
• Develop prototype analysis tools, document technical results, and present recommendations to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in AOCS, GNC, spacecraft guidance, or satellite mission analysis.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft dynamics, orbital mechanics, and attitude guidance concepts.
• Experience with simulation-based engineering and performance assessment of space systems.
• Familiarity with verification and validation, performance metrics, and technical trade-off analyses.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and communicate results through reports and presentations.
