What you will do

• Derive, implement, test, and validate component models for avionics system simulations.
• Maintain and improve the overall system simulation environment and related codebase.
• Perform system identification using component- and system-level test data.
• Conduct structured software testing of personal and colleagues’ implementations.
• Maintain clean code structure, documentation, and traceability.
• Support engineering teams using models for flight control software verification and concept design studies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in the space or aerospace industry.
• Experience simulating complex space or aerospace avionics systems.
• Experience deriving, implementing, testing, or validating simulation models.
• Experience with software testing, code structure, technical documentation, and model validation.
• Fluent English and an EU passport are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the SimTG Modeling Framework.
• German language skills.
