What you will do

• Provide engineering support for CONVEX desktop applications, the Energy Management System, and the Transmission System.
• Perform database updates, display building, and data link updates.
• Test remote terminal units and retrieve transmission data for system participants.
• Resolve computer issues and problems affecting CONVEX operations.
• Facilitate CONVEX EMS SCADA and Security Program Data Base project work.
• Participate in on-call coverage and emergency restoration assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus two years of formal technical training in computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent background.
• Two to four years of related experience in engineering, computers, or telemetry for the B level.
• Passing EEI technical aptitude testing is required.
• Availability for on-call work and emergency restoration assignments outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location.
• Eversource will not provide immigration-related visa sponsorship; applicants requiring sponsorship to start employment will not be considered.
• CONVEX Bargaining Unit employees receive first consideration.

Nice to have

• Five to six years of related experience for the A level.
• Zero to two years of related experience for the C level.
