Support Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Wrocław, Poland; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Annual gross base pay: PLN 169,000–330,000, plus applicable short-term and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Support client production and test environments, maintaining system stability and performance.
• Translate client needs into actionable technical solutions and product enhancements.
• Design, develop, and maintain software components and infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize system architecture for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across time zones to align delivery objectives and client outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong Linux expertise and experience in DevOps or programming roles.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting and programming.
• Clear communication skills and experience in client-facing or collaborative matrixed environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in client-facing or customer support engineering roles.
• Background in finance, fintech, or regulated industries.
• Experience working across global teams and cultural contexts.
