Middle Tech Support / Junior DevOps Specialist

Location: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Latvia, Poland, or Romania. The role requires a rotating 12-hour schedule: 3 consecutive day shifts, 3 days off, 3 consecutive night shifts, and 3 days off.

What you will do

• Monitor and support production infrastructure across multiple environments, including system performance, availability, and alerts.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues involving servers, networks, databases, applications, infrastructure services, and web services.
• Provide technical support for Linux and Windows Server environments and support Apache, Nginx, and IIS.
• Assist with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support AWS and Microsoft Azure infrastructure, deployments, configuration changes, CI/CD processes, and routine infrastructure operations.
• Work with developers and engineering teams on incident investigation, escalation, resolution, infrastructure automation, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, infrastructure operations, or a related technical role.
• Willingness to work the required rotating 12-hour day/night shift schedule.
• Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows Server environments and TCP/IP networking concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues involving servers, networks, applications, or services.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently during shifts and know when to escalate issues.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn DevOps, infrastructure, and automation technologies.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with Apache, Nginx, or IIS.
• Experience with Zabbix or another monitoring platform.
• Basic knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible, Puppet, or similar technologies.
• Basic scripting knowledge, preferably Python.
