Industrial Sewing / Machine Technician (TMO) / 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate complex equipment and automated machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products to quality specifications.
• Set up, load, operate, diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain and monitor machinery, including developing, performing, and teaching preventative technical maintenance.
• Read dimensional drawings, routings, and bills of materials and calculate dimensional information.
• Perform SPC and quality checks using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other measuring devices.
• Train team members, support safety guidelines, participate in MKPS improvement activities, and meet required cycle times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least 1 year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading dimensional production drawings and specifications.
• Experience accessing and using information system computer databases.
• Basic math skills and the ability to use required measuring tools and devices.
• Ability to work onsite in Holland, Michigan, during the assigned shift, with regular attendance, overtime, and varied surrounding hours as needed.
