Salary: $28–$30 per hour, plus an 8% second-shift differential; $1,000 hiring bonus subject to repayment terms.

What you will do

• Set up CNC lathes and mills, including tooling, work holding, fixturing, and program loading.
• Operate CNC and manual machines to face, turn, bore, chamfer, groove, thread, drill, tap, and deburr parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, and other precision instruments to verify dimensions.
• Make offsets and minor program edits to keep parts within tolerance.
• Maintain coolant ratios and levels and perform autonomous equipment maintenance.
• Use hoists, hand tools, power tools, air tools, and fractometers while keeping production running smoothly.

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC mill and lathe setup and operation experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint and print comprehension, and shop math.
• Ability to multitask in a production environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift or lower weights up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude are accepted in place of extensive experience.
