Machinist - 1st Shift (CNC)

Location: Delavan, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional mandatory overtime is required.

Salary: $30.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience. A $1,000 hiring bonus is paid in two installments after 90 days and six months of employment.

What you will do

• Set up, gauge, and operate CNC lathes and mills for production castings.
• Perform facing, turning, boring, chamfering, grooving, threading, drilling, tapping, and washing operations.
• Complete tooling, fixturing, machine, and precision measurement setup.
• Read part drawings and inspect work with adjustable and fixed gauges.
• Maintain coolant ratios and levels and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Use CNC and manual equipment, hoists, hand tools, power tools, air tools, and refractometers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of CNC machining experience required.
• GD&T, technical drawing comprehension, and shop math.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and maintain smooth production flow.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, and lift or lower weights up to 30 lb; steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
