Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays; employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required.
Annual salary: $138,390β$153,770, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of at least two full-time employees, providing direction, training, cross-training, and support.
- Develop and monitor budgets, long-range plans, operating budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and oversee financial analyses supporting regulatory filings, applying general accounting principles and utility-specific practices.
- Provide financial support and consultation to business managers on strategic initiatives and corporate budgeting decisions.
- Lead financial projects, manage critical-path schedules, and coordinate priorities across business areas.
- Develop and implement Finance procedures and administer relevant company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; a masterβs degree is preferred.
- At least five years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of finance, utility accounting, and regulation.
- Ability to direct multiple competing priorities, draw sound business conclusions, make decisions, and drive results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Applicants must be able to work in the United States and must not require immigration-related sponsorship to start employment.
Nice to have
- Experience with revenue requirements and rate-making theory.
- Financial modeling experience.
- CPA or an industry-specific designation.
- Masterβs degree.
