Senior Associate FP&A (Renewable Energy)

Location: US, Arlington, VA

Salary: $105,000–$131,325 per year, plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate with strategic business units to collect inputs, explanations, and analysis for monthly and annual corporate reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts by consolidating and analyzing regional reports.
• Analyze performance drivers, forecast outputs, and budget-to-actual variances, presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Build valuation and financial models for investment opportunities, business development projects, and customer proposals.
• Evaluate NPV, IRR, ROE, capital requirements, and annual cash and income contributions for potential projects.
• Prepare executive reports, business cases, presentations, and sensitivities while collaborating across functional teams.

Requirements

• Must work in the US, Arlington, Virginia.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A or business valuation analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree and experience working with accounting systems.
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex Excel models.
• Strong data analytics, business acumen, communication, planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with GAAP, financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
• Experience with dashboards, data visualization, automation, and AI.
• Renewable energy experience.
• Proficiency in PowerBI, Anaplan, BPC, or ThinkCell.
