Director, Finance

Location: Universal City, California, United States; hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office

Salary: $135,000–$170,000 yearly, plus bonus and LTI eligibility

What you will do

• Lead and develop an FP&A team responsible for budgeting, monthly pacing and close, forecasting, reporting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee financial planning and analysis across more than $1.5 billion in international film revenue.
• Translate complex financial data into executive-level insights and explain performance drivers across comparable periods.
• Partner with Distribution Sales, Film Studio executives, Sales Administration, Marketing, Controllership, Planning, and Information Technology.
• Deliver executive presentations covering financial performance, risks, opportunities, and KPIs.
• Implement process improvements that increase efficiency and financial transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• 7+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and the ability to analyze and manipulate high volumes of data.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, judgment, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proven leadership experience, including leading a team or process.
• High level of personal and professional integrity.
