Logistics & Distribution Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Not specified; first shift, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $23.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Receive, verify, count, log, and store incoming materials in the ERP system.
• Pack or crate finished goods and manage daily shipping and receiving operations.
• Coordinate LTL, truck, and UPS shipments, including pickups, bills of lading, truck loading, and ERP updates.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and customer service on customer delivery schedules and requirements.
• Improve shipping and manufacturing area organization using 6S and Lean methods.
• Support efficient material flow and reduce waste in movement and activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, or distribution.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and freight or carrier management tools.
• Knowledge of LTL and FTL freight processes, carrier selection, and rate coordination.
• Strong organization, documentation, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds; forklift or pallet jack operation may be required.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
