General Warehouse Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead the overall performance, strategy, and operational excellence of the distribution center.
• Analyze KPIs including throughput, cycle time, labor utilization, workflow trends, and quality results to identify root causes and improvements.
• Develop scalable warehouse processes, reporting tools, capacity plans, and labor allocation models.
• Lead recruitment, training, development, retention, and performance management for warehouse personnel.
• Manage inventory accuracy, facility maintenance, warehouse layout, equipment, security, and OSHA-compliant safety practices.
• Own operating budgets, capital planning, productivity performance, and annual profitability objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• At least 5 years in senior management leading large teams of 30–50 or more employees.
• Experience with safety, inventory, labor management, customer service, and financial performance.
• Advanced skills in KPI development, dashboard interpretation, forecasting, budgeting, labor planning, and operational reporting.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, inventory systems, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and business intelligence outputs.
