General Warehouse Manager

Location: On-site in Garland, Texas, United States. Regular physical activity is required, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasional travel may be required, up to 10%.

What you will do

• Lead overall distribution center performance, strategic direction, safety, service, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and financial results.
• Analyze workflow, throughput, cycle time, labor utilization, quality, and other KPIs to identify root causes and measure improvements.
• Develop scalable operational processes, reporting tools, capacity plans, labor plans, and resource allocation models.
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain warehouse personnel while building accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee inventory controls, facility maintenance, warehouse layout, equipment, security, and operational compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Manage operating budgets, capital planning, productivity performance, profitability objectives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, including at least 5 years in senior management.
• Experience leading large teams of 30–50+ employees with responsibility for safety, inventory, labor management, customer service, and financial performance.
• Advanced analytical skills covering KPI development, dashboard interpretation, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, labor planning, and operational performance reporting.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, inventory systems, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and business intelligence outputs.
• Hands-on knowledge of Lean and 5S methodologies, strong attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to translate complex operational data into clear insights, priorities, and action plans for warehouse teams and senior leadership.
• Ability to perform regular physical warehouse activities and work around repetitive motions, warehouse equipment, varying temperatures, and noise.
