Senior Product Manager - Data Center Switching

Location: Hybrid in San Jose, United States; attendance at San Jose meetings as needed and at least two office days per week required.

Salary: USD 136,500–260,500 annually in Massachusetts; USD 136,500–276,500 annually in California and New York; USD 120,500–276,500 annually in Texas. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead the telemetry and analytics direction for the data center portfolio.
• Define feature requirements and work with engineering and product lifecycle management leads to deliver new capabilities.
• Manage internal and external technology partnerships and support vendor onboarding.
• Manage existing switching platforms and contribute to the definition of future platforms.
• Support go-to-market initiatives for full-stack networking, compute, and storage solutions.
• Develop portfolio strategy, business cases, presentations, and lifecycle plans.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of data center or product management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of data center virtualization technologies, protocols, containers, network applications, and cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of data center telemetry and analytics for planning and troubleshooting large environments.
• 6+ years of experience with data center technologies from vendors such as VMware, HPE, Cisco, Arista, or Juniper.
• Ability to create product requirement documents and business cases, influence cross-functional teams, and build cost-efficient solutions.
