Senior Product Manager - Unified Data Fabric

Location: US-California-San Jose; flexible work-from-home policy available.

Annual base salary: $185,000–$231,000 in California.

What you will do

• Define the product vision, strategy, lifecycle, and roadmap for Octopai within the Unified Data Fabric.
• Establish functional requirements, architectural standards, reusable design patterns, and API capabilities for metadata integration, automated lineage, and data governance.
• Validate technical product solutions for enterprise use cases, including scalability, security, and performance.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Sales, and Product Marketing to prioritize roadmap capabilities based on customer and field insights.
• Track product adoption, feature utilization, scalability, and customer time-to-value metrics.
• Represent the product in strategic customer engagements, executive briefings, and market events while connecting enterprise feedback with R&D.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of progressive product management experience or equivalent technical domain leadership.
• Experience building enterprise data platforms, data governance, or metadata management products.
• Deep knowledge of data fabric architecture, automated data lineage, metadata platforms, graph technologies, and governance frameworks.
• Experience defining requirements for scalable distributed systems, enterprise APIs, and complex data integrations.
• Strong cross-functional influence, communication, customer-facing, and enterprise stakeholder management skills; ability to travel globally as needed.
