Annual base salary: $185,000–$231,000

What you will do
- Define the product vision, strategy, platform roadmap, and lifecycle for Octopai within the Unified Data Fabric.
- Set functional requirements, architectural standards, reusable product patterns, and API capabilities for metadata integration, automated lineage, and data governance.
- Validate technical product solutions for enterprise use cases, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Sales, and Product Marketing to convert customer and field insights into roadmap priorities.
- Define product adoption, scalability, feature utilization, and time-to-value metrics.
- Represent the product in strategic customer engagements, executive briefings, and market events while connecting customers, field engineering, and R&D.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of product management or equivalent technical domain leadership experience building enterprise data platforms, data governance, or metadata management products.
- Deep knowledge of data fabric architecture, automated data lineage, metadata platforms, graph technologies, and enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Experience defining requirements for scalable distributed systems, enterprise APIs, and complex data integrations.
- Ability to influence engineering, architecture, and go-to-market teams without direct authority, with strong written, verbal, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Ability to travel globally as needed; this role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
