Assembly Technician

Salary: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

Manufacturing operations producing assembled products for customers.

What you will do

• Perform assembly, machine operation, packing, and inspection across product lines.
• Operate secondary machining equipment, including saws, drill presses, and other manufacturing machinery.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and on schedule.
• Inspect materials, components, and finished products, escalating defects and process deviations.
• Monitor Kanban inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production floor using 5S practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read work orders, assembly drawings, bills of materials, SOPs, and quality checklists.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, stand for extended periods, and frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and workplace procedures.

Nice to have

• Prior production, manufacturing, or assembly experience.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or production tracking tools.
