What you will do

• Assemble custom factory-built substations as part of a manufacturing team.
• Read blueprints and layout specifications to position, align, and assemble structural components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, forklifts, hoists, and cranes safely.
• Move heavy parts into position and maintain a steady flow of quality products.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep warehouse, grounds, facilities, equipment, and machinery in order.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain an excellent safety record.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand tape measures, rules, combination squares, and other measuring devices.
• Ability to perform basic shop math using fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
• Experience using basic hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers.
• Ability to operate tools, machinery, safety equipment, forklifts, hoists, and cranes safely.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred.
