Mechanical Assembler (Manufacturing)

Location: Fontana, California, United States; on-site production-floor work

Salary: $18.59–$25.10 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble sheet-metal panels for enclosure building doors, walls, roofs, and trusses.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, procedures, work instructions, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
• Use power tools and hand tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, and grinders.
• Perform quality checks, identify defects, and record and report issues.
• Maintain supplies, tools, parts, and a clean and safe workstation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in assembly, construction, or manufacturing.
• Experience safely operating powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts, or overhead cranes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, tools, measurements, and basic mathematics.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, perform repetitive tasks, and lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
• Must work on the production floor while wearing required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, a hard hat, and hearing protection.
