Energy Efficiency Consultant, NH (Hybrid Schedule)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The role may require working up to five days in the office when needed.

Salary: $96,460–$107,180 annually, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Support Residential Home Energy Performance and Residential New Construction programs.
• Guide customers, contractors, vendors, builders, developers, architects, and HERS raters on energy-efficient technologies and program participation.
• Assist with home energy assessments, weatherization, retrofit solutions, energy-efficient building design, and ENERGY STAR Homes and above-code projects.
• Review moderately complex projects, energy models, technical documentation, program requirements, energy codes, and industry standards.
• Coordinate customers, vendors, internal teams, NHSaves utilities, and external stakeholders while managing project pipelines and resolving issues.
• Support budgeting, invoicing, RFP development, compliance, program records, process improvements, and energy-savings tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of experience in energy efficiency, project management, technical sales, or a related field.
• Hands-on Power BI experience, including DAX, dashboards, and data modeling.
• Experience integrating and cleaning data across CRM systems, audit tools, Excel, billing data, and other sources.
• Strong communication, collaboration, customer service, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must not require immigration-related sponsorship to start employment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with REM/Rate, Ekotrope, and utility programs.
• Knowledge of IECC energy codes and ENERGY STAR Homes.
