Field Analytics & Insights Director (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Based in South San Francisco, California, United States; remote work may be considered for US candidates living in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, or Texas. Salary: $172,600–$320,600 USD annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Advise Customer Engagement and Field Medical leadership on business priorities, strategic options, and action plans.
• Deliver custom analyses and synthesize insights across therapeutic areas, ecosystems, payer, provider, patient, and market domains.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that support patient and organizational value.
• Embed analytics products into business workflows and support adoption through roadmap participation, training, testing, and feedback.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, guide offshore teams, and deliver high-quality analytical outputs.
• Coach analysts, share best practices, identify automation opportunities, and improve analytical workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or analytical work.
• Degree in business, economics, engineering, statistics, life sciences, mathematics, computer or physical sciences, or a related field.
• Expertise in healthcare, biopharma, managed care, customer engagement, marketing, patient access, or related domains.
• Mastery of exploring large datasets, identifying important insights, and building concise, compelling narratives.
• Proficiency with analytical tools including Excel, Python, SQL, and Dataiku.
• Must work from the stated US location or approved US states; business travel may be required.

Nice to have

• MBA or graduate-level degree.
• Experience with pharmaceutical product development or commercialization.
• Expertise in healthcare customer ecosystems and go-to-market or access topics.
