Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $89,000–$121,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Partner with corporate, market, and network leaders to understand business strategy and deliver data analysis solutions.
• Analyze provider contract performance and related healthcare processes using complex internal and external datasets.
• Build optimized, scalable, and documented processes to mine, integrate, summarize, and analyze data from multiple platforms.
• Develop data reporting and visualization solutions that provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Serve as a data and visualization subject matter expert and uphold development standards.
• Mentor teammates on best practices, especially in low-code development with Microsoft Power Apps.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience writing complex SQL queries against large datasets and visualizing results with modern BI tools such as Power BI.
• At least 3 years of experience designing scalable data pipelines in Databricks.
• At least 1 year of experience designing, building, and maintaining solutions with Microsoft Power Apps or Power Automate.
• Strong healthcare-sector experience, including the ability to analyze and present complex data for decision support.
• Experience translating requirements between business users and technical development teams.
• The role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Power BI, Power Platform, or Power Apps certification.
• Experience using Python for task orchestration, data pipelines, data cleaning, or other data-centric use cases.
• Experience with AI or machine learning methodologies in a business context.
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder and medical claims or provider data.
