Working Foreman - Communication & Control

Location: Hooksett, New Hampshire; travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire is required as necessary.

Salary: $62.87 per hour plus incentive; compensation is commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Direct personnel and perform system-wide assignments involving installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, and repair of protective relay systems and equipment.
• Work with IEDs, electromechanical and solid-state relays, power line carriers, DTT, SCADA, IEC 61850 systems, HMIs, DFRs, PLCs, and related control equipment.
• Plan, schedule, review, and evaluate work while ensuring assignments are completed safely and on time.
• Train and instruct department employees and supervise assigned personnel.
• Analyze operating methods, improve procedures, and make decisions based on technical information.
• Collaborate with employees, management, interfacing departments, and vendors.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of testing and troubleshooting methods for protection and control systems and equipment.
• Thorough understanding of the operation, maintenance, and software applications supporting transmission and distribution operations.
• Associate degree in Electronic or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and availability for emergency restoration assignments are required.
