Junior RF Systems Engineer (RF Systems)

Location: Coppell, Texas, USA; candidates must reside in the US and hold US citizenship. The role includes extensive travel within the US and occasional international travel, plus onsite installation, integration, acceptance testing, and training at customer facilities.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 total annual compensation, including base salary, variable pay when applicable, and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze customer application needs and test plan requirements to scope preliminary RF system designs, quotes, and technical proposals.
• Develop complete system design packages and documentation for production handover and testing at the Texas facility.
• Supervise and perform system installation, integration, acceptance testing, and customer training.
• Provide third-level technical support and coordinate local and remote resources to resolve escalated issues.
• Develop standardized design concepts and best practices for project execution.

Requirements

• Graduating or recent BSEE graduate with a GPA above 3.0.
• Understanding of RF fundamentals, including VSWR, insertion loss, modulation formats, system sensitivity, noise figure, and power or field-strength calculations.
• Interest in RF test system design and operation involving instrumentation, switching, high-power amplifiers, antennas, anechoic chambers, and measurement system software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and customer-interface skills.
• US residence and US citizenship are required by the customer.
• Ability to travel extensively within the US, occasionally internationally, and lift at least 40 pounds.
