What you will do

• Execute R&D for new circuit card designs and electromechanical assemblies for AUV/ROV systems.
• Integrate AC/DC power systems, battery conversion, and sensor suites into subsea vehicles.
• Perform functional analysis, design verification, and electrical failure analysis of hardware.
• Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to guide system-level design decisions.
• Create and maintain power and endurance budgets throughout development phases.
• Provide technical support to key subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (3+ years experience) or Master's (1+ year experience).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Proficiency with Altium, SPICE, and MATLAB.
• Ability to travel up to 15% both internationally and domestically.
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability in model-based systems engineering.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the DoD industry.
• Experience designing and testing electronics for wet and subsea environments.
• Familiarity with Mil Standards, ruggedized equipment design, and environmental test requirements.
• Knowledge of PCB design and component derating for reliability.
