Systems Engineering Acquisition Logistics Specialist

Location: Remote within the United States; El Segundo, California. Travel up to 25% may be required, including occasional work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute integration plans for space and ground environmental monitoring systems.
• Lead and support integration activities across system-of-systems, system, segment, and element levels.
• Research requirements, technologies, and threats and apply integration methodologies and tools.
• Assist with evaluating, redesigning, and authoring system life-cycle and sustainment policies, processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate with data analysts, financial managers, systems engineers, and logisticians to align documentation with DoD guidance.
• Support the rapid deployment of remote sensing capabilities for military users.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with space-based program integration, systems engineering, and logistics planning for Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
• Experience with DoD acquisition program management, acquisition planning, sustainment infrastructure, and organizational planning.
• Experience aligning subsystem hardware or software and mitigating system integration risks.
• Experience with system integration test analysis and configuration change control.
• Active Secret clearance is required, with eligibility for access to classified information.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Test Readiness Review packages or working with remote sensing systems.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Knowledge of NASA or NOAA systems engineering processes, the INCOSE standards handbook, or IEEE 15288.
• TS/SCI clearance, a STEM master's degree, PMP certification, or CSEP/ESEP certification.
