Mgr Projects (Natural Gas)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid work for most office roles. Travel may be required up to 25%.

What you will do

• Develop and manage multi-year departmental budgets.
• Lead the development and execution of natural gas and liquids programs involving processing plants, compressor stations, pipelines, pipeline facilities, and meter stations.
• Review and approve project documents, designs, plans, and business requirements.
• Analyze technical alternatives, project risks, and project economics.
• Establish project controls, work processes, tools, and procedures.
• Build effective teams and relationships with contractors, producers, customers, and internal partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in oil and gas, with a background in engineering, project controls, commercial development, operations, or project management.
• Experience managing programs and supervising engineering and project management professionals.
• Experience with project analysis, volume forecasting, and project scheduling.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera and Oracle Applications.
• Knowledge of DOT design requirements, industry-standard methodologies, Microsoft Office, and PC applications, plus strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• At least seven years of project execution experience.
• Engineering degree, advanced degree, PE license, or PMP certification.
