What you will do

  • Serve as the primary contact for landowners regarding project access, construction activities, property impacts, and land-related concerns.
  • Coordinate environmental, biological, cultural resources, stormwater, and mitigation monitoring during transmission project construction.
  • Review environmental and construction submittals, document road conditions, and perform post-construction SWPPP inspections.
  • Coordinate easements, land rights, right-of-way access, site restoration, agricultural impacts, vegetation management, and property damage concerns.
  • Coordinate construction activities involving logging operations and railroad rights-of-way, including train scheduling, flagging, utility notifications, and safety requirements.
  • Track landowner communications, agreements, notifications, risks, and issue resolutions while supporting project schedule and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, environmental studies, natural resources, land management, agriculture, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with contractors, landowners, agricultural stakeholders, utility projects, infrastructure development, construction, right-of-way management, or real estate services.
  • Knowledge of property rights, easements, right-of-way requirements, and landowner relations practices.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental compliance regulations and permits.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, property owners, agencies, and utility representatives.

Nice to have

  • Experience with transmission, utility, energy, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with railroad right-of-way requirements and construction coordination.
  • Knowledge of agricultural operations, farming practices, and land-use considerations.
  • Experience managing environmental compliance for large-scale infrastructure construction.
  • Understanding of construction safety requirements and PPE protocols.
