Software Development Engineer (Computer Vision)

What you will do

• Design, architect, prototype, build, and deliver end-to-end computer vision systems.
• Develop and deploy intelligent machines and real-time software for hirify.global Fulfillment Centers.
• Implement, optimize, maintain, and operate complex software systems.
• Build infrastructure and tools that support collaboration between machine learning scientists, hardware engineers, and software engineers.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, operations, Safety, Reliability, and Maintenance stakeholders.
• Contribute to software and architecture reviews and improve team engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• Experience designing or architecting reliable and scalable systems.
• Professional programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
• Experience delivering complex software systems and working across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Linux development, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading or influencing a team or organization.
• Experience with computer vision, machine learning, scalable infrastructure, sensors, real-time systems, embedded systems, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience with formal Integration, Validation, and Verification techniques.
