Senior Software Development Engineer (AWS AI Agentic Automated Reasoning)

Location: Seattle, Washington, USA

Salary: $168,100–$227,400 annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Design and implement managed cloud automated reasoning services, including query routing, solver orchestration, result caching, and soundness management.
• Build and operate highly available, low-latency distributed systems that meet AWS operational excellence standards.
• Develop service APIs for local-solver migration and new reasoning use cases, including Agentic AI correctness verification.
• Partner with automated reasoning scientists to turn solver research advances into production capabilities.
• Own operational excellence through on-call support, monitoring, alerting, deployment automation, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, troubleshoot customer integrations, and optimize reasoning workloads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture for reliable and scalable systems.
• Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team lead.
• Experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
