Small Service and OM Manager (Hydropower)

Location: Hybrid work mode, based in offices in Quebec, Ontario, or British Columbia, Canada; main working location listed as Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Travel mainly in Canada is required.

What you will do

• Prepare bids for small service and operations and maintenance opportunities, covering technical and commercial aspects.
• Review and approve bids and purchase orders in line with hirify.global standards.
• Lead or support contract negotiations and manage project execution, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop performance tools and KPI dashboards and present service capabilities to customers.
• Support annual business planning and organize customer visits to promote small services and O&M solutions.
• Develop relationships with strategic clients and promote long-term O&M master service agreements.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in project management, operations and maintenance, business development, engineered or manufactured products, or aftermarket services.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in sales, proposals, customer interaction, commercial contracts, negotiations, and management of large projects.
• Project management and leadership skills, including team management and follow-up on deliverables in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Legal status to work in Canada is required; availability to travel mainly in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Professional engineering designation, such as P. Eng. or OIQ membership.
• Knowledge of the hydro market in Canada or the USA and experience managing O&M for hydro plants.
• Knowledge of hydroelectric products, technical requirements, markets, and hirify.global Hydro compact machine designs.
