Albany, NY Global Technical Learning Center Technical Trainer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Albany, New York, United States; onsite at the global technical learning center, with domestic and international travel required approximately 25% of the time.

Salary: $84,000.00–$115,500.00 per year

What you will do

• Deliver classroom, online, hands-on laboratory, and customized customer training on advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and maintain technical courses, certification programs, instructional materials, and documentation with engineering and product teams.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve laboratory training equipment, including required safety retrofits.
• Manage technical training projects, direct project team members, and support daily learning-center operations.
• Maintain product expertise, complete and administer certifications, and ensure training reflects current tools and technology.
• Coach and mentor instructors, support instructional designers as a subject-matter expert, and resolve customer satisfaction issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military training or experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, field service, technical training, or a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment operation, with the ability to solve complex technical problems independently.
• Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and technical documentation skills for diverse technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, influence stakeholders across global organizations, and mentor or coach less experienced colleagues.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including periodic off-shift or weekend training as assigned.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epitaxy, Metal Deposition Products, and Implant processes on hirify.global equipment.
• Experience developing technical training, certification, or knowledge-transfer programs.
• Experience with learning technologies, instructional development processes, or technical publications.
