Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $126,000–$153,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

  • Act as the technical liaison between customers, technical consultants, sales, engineering, and production teams.
  • Clarify project requirements and prepare detailed Scope of Work documents covering services, deliverables, specifications, and exclusions.
  • Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line schematics for completeness and feasibility.
  • Develop cost models, pricing tools, BOM templates, labor estimates, and formal customer quotations.
  • Coordinate with engineering and vendors to collect BOM data, pricing, lead times, and quotes for switchboards, switchgear, and modular buildings.
  • Audit pricing tools and quotation processes while providing cost and margin data to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering, Technology, Construction Management, or a related field with 4+ years of estimating experience; or 5–8 years of direct estimating, costing, and technical sales experience in engineered-to-order manufacturing.
  • Technical knowledge of producing and assembling electrical enclosures, low- and medium-voltage switchboards, and switchgear.
  • Experience calculating fabrication, painting, assembly, wiring, and design engineering labor hours.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple quotes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Participation in a required drug and alcohol program is required because the role is safety-sensitive and/or based in a safety-sensitive facility.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Acumatica.
  • Knowledge of modular electrical buildings, e-houses, PDCs, industrial controls, or automation systems.
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code requirements for quotation documentation.
