Software Engineer I (TypeScript/React/Go)

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain front-end features with TypeScript and React under senior engineer guidance.
• Contribute bug fixes, enhancements, and unit tests to Go backend services.
• Assist with ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, and platform scripting.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
• Use GitHub Actions, Terraform, and internal developer portal templates to build and ship features.
• Contribute to AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered product capabilities, ideally using AWS Bedrock.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience, including internships or co-ops.
• Foundational knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript and a modern front-end framework, preferably React.
• Familiarity with at least one backend language; exposure to Go is a plus.
• Understanding of Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow platform experience or certification coursework.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, including GitHub Actions.
• Coursework or personal projects involving cloud services, AI agents, or LLM-based tooling.
