Principal Software Engineer (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services and data-driven APIs for a marketing platform.
• Own the full lifecycle of applications and supporting infrastructure from design to deployment.
• Document technical requirements and designs for internal teams and external clients.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to build a large-scale ML platform for a telco client.
• Work within an Agile delivery model to automate, deploy, and support solutions end-to-end.

Requirements

• Strong JVM expertise, preferably in Kotlin or Java.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Redux, and Tailwind.
• Proficiency in SQL, including schema design and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scala or functional programming.
• Familiarity with asynchronous frameworks like Ktor, http4k, or RxJava.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Cosmos DB.
• Advanced Git workflow experience.
