HSE Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $102,000–$124,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Assess workplace risks across manufacturing worksites and develop actionable risk-reduction recommendations.
• Develop and implement HSE processes, procedures, work instructions, checklists, and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and established procedures.
• Track and report HSE objectives and metrics, supporting management decision-making.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective-action follow-up, audits, and self-assessments.
• Coordinate HSE training and promote awareness and a proactive safety culture.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of relevant industry experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state HSE rules and regulations.
• Hands-on experience implementing HSE rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Must be legally authorized to work and reside in the United States without sponsorship; background check and drug and alcohol program participation are required.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, or OHST.
• Experience supporting HSE programs in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
• University degree in a relevant field.
