What you will do

• Lead implementation of the Global Workplace Health & Safety Program across multiple sites.
• Conduct risk assessments, site audits, compliance reviews, and incident trend analysis.
• Partner with Operations leaders to integrate safety requirements into business operations.
• Develop safety initiatives, department goals, training programs, and performance metrics.
• Manage first aid, emergency response, recordkeeping, and workplace organization programs.
• Use data analysis and practical solutions to improve safety performance and prevent incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of Amazon blue-badge/FTE experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibility in workplace health and safety or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibility in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety blue-badge/FTE experience.
• Ability to travel 50–70% of the time and work various shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand or walk for up to 12 hours, climb stairs, and work in variable noise, temperature, and weather conditions.
• Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain it within 3 weeks of starting.

Nice to have

• Distribution center or manufacturing safety experience at a site with at least 250 employees.
• Master’s degree or Certified Safety Professional certification.
• Experience managing multiple sites and collaborating with exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills, including pivot tables and charts.
