Senior Analyst (Telecommunications Risk)

What you will do

• Own and maintain the Networks risk register, including causes, impacts, controls, treatments, ownership, ratings, and review dates.
• Review and challenge risk inputs from network teams to improve their quality, consistency, completeness, and effectiveness.
• Facilitate risk identification and assessment activities with engineering and delivery teams.
• Assess inherent and residual risks, identify control and treatment gaps, and escalate significant exposures.
• Monitor risk treatments and control actions, track overdue commitments, and prepare dashboards, reports, and executive summaries.
• Analyse risk trends and translate mobile network issues into recommendations and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in risk, governance, controls, technical analysis, or related roles within telecommunications, technology, infrastructure, or complex delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of risk identification, assessment, controls, treatments, ownership, escalation, and monitoring.
• Experience evaluating risk statements, challenging risk ratings and controls, and improving supporting information.
• Working knowledge of mobile network architecture and the impact of technical changes, constraints, dependencies, and control weaknesses on business outcomes.
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau and the ability to explain technical risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
