What you will do

• Analyze large-scale data to identify anomalies not detected by existing models and drive risk control enhancements.
• Lead proactive risk assessments across various products and risk types to close critical control gaps.
• Manage complex, cross-functional risk projects in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase operational efficiency through AI and automation.
• Present divisional performance updates and risk insights to senior leadership.
• Conduct deep dives into emerging risk issues and provide actionable strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Strong domain knowledge in fraud, credit, financial crime, or operational risk.
• Product knowledge in payments, issuing, or lending.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks, or BI tools for identifying abnormal patterns.
• Strong consulting skills, including structured problem solving and project management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse functions and cultures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in risk management or operations strategy within fintech or high-growth tech.
• Experience in modeling or machine learning.
• Track record of leading cross-functional teams and projects.
• Advanced degree (Master's or higher).
