Product Marketing Engineer (Vacuum Technology)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Export office in Export, Pennsylvania, United States, with up to 30% domestic travel.

What you will do

• Act as the primary regional technical resource for assigned vacuum product lines across the Americas.
• Support sales teams and customers with product selection, application suitability, technical guidance, quotations, and customer-facing discussions.
• Recommend vacuum equipment solutions based on customer processes and application requirements.
• Deliver technical training and product presentations to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Support new applications, customer qualifications, startup activities, field evaluations, product launches, and warranty or complaint resolution.
• Collaborate with product management, sales channels, service teams, and technical support while documenting customer feedback and application knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, engineering technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in the vacuum industry or in technical sales, product management, applications engineering, or product marketing.
• Experience with cryogenic pumps, ion pumps, residual gas analyzers, high-vacuum, or ultra-high-vacuum systems is highly desirable.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across office, laboratory, manufacturing, and customer-site environments; a valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Export, Pennsylvania office and travel domestically up to 30%.
