Product Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based at the Export office in Export, Pennsylvania, United States; work includes remote, office, laboratory, manufacturing, and customer-site environments. Travel up to 30% domestically is required.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary regional technical resource for assigned vacuum product lines across the Americas.
• Support sales channels and customers with product selection, application suitability, technical guidance, and quotations.
• Recommend vacuum equipment solutions based on customer processes and application requirements.
• Support product launches, customer qualifications, startup activities, field evaluations, and new application development.
• Deliver technical training and product presentations to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product management, sales, service, and technical support teams while documenting feedback and supporting complaint resolution and warranty activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, engineering technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience within the vacuum industry is preferred.
• Experience with cryogenic pumps, ion pumps, residual gas analyzers, high-vacuum, or ultra-high-vacuum systems is highly desirable.
• Experience in technical sales, product management, applications engineering, or product marketing.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work across office, laboratory, manufacturing, and customer-site environments.
